Anyone smoked their CRA sampler yet?

I tried the Punch and liked it.

I smoked the Padron 64 simply cause I had never had one before. The rest are still sitting in the coolidor along with the 2 freebies for signing up.

Yup...I am not a Punch fan...but that was a good stick! I am telling you...I have yet to have a bad stick out of that pack. And I have tried to repeat the experience by buying the same stick at the shop...and to no avail...I am pretty sure there is crack in each one!

So I joined a couple weeks ago and await the 2 freebies, from what I understand they are going to be random from the listed sampler? Is that correct? If you got the 2 freebies what did you get?

They're not exactly the same. I know that the tatuaje black in the sampler is a toro, and the random signup one is a lonsdale.

6. Liga Privada
5. Ashton VSG
4. Rocky Patel
3. Padron
2. Casa Fernandez
1. Punch

Yeah, that's right the Punch is still the best cigar out of that sampler so far. Some of the others have been kinda young tasting - and the VSG and LP were "flat".

Still have a few more to go...

Wow, I wasn't expecting the punch to be the gem out of the bunch. I figured the Padron, Tatuaje Black, or VSG would have been the best three. Glad to see General making a good stick nowadays.

My two free sticks were the Liga and Ashton. Not so happy about the selection now, but who knows, different smokes for different folks.

I saw someone who received a special Camacho stick for their freebie. Perhaps part of the next sampler?

They made a Tat black lonsdale too?

I got my two free sticks for renewing my CRA membership.. They were the Punch and the Ashton VSG. I enjoyed both. I bought the 10 pack sampler as well. I am holding on to those. I have 10 certification tests to go through until I am MCSE certified. I am smoking one for each exam I pass. First exam coming up next week!
