I like the new Miami & the Old Miami, the 1932 being a bit strong for me lately, but I agree with it being the best of the bunch.

The 68, to me, is the worst. I've had more than one stain my lips & write like a marker on my hand - not to mention flavors that made me ditch the stick after repeat attempts.

I'm interested to see what Tatuaje product uses the Pelo de Oro wrapper....

Anyone tried the Hybrid?

Don't waste your money. I know tastes vary, but I don't know anyone who would like this cigar! I bought a 10 pack and ended up giving most of them away. Very bland/weak and just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

This was the 2nd Padilla I ever tried (1st being Miami 8 & 11). It was over 2 years before I smoked another Padilla, which sucks because I like all the other blends!

In so far as I know, you can tell a Pepin 1932 from a post-Pepin 1932 by the band. The post-Pepin 1932 had 'Padilla' in script across the front of the band whereas the Pepin made one is in red block lettering.

Either way, I think the Miami 8&11 robusto is my favorite Padilla. It definitely tastes different than the new Miami. The new Miami is not bad in its own right.

I LOVE almost every Padilla I've had (can't say the same with all *gasp! I know*- Pepins) with the Hybrid being one of my favorites! Just enjoyed one last night as a matter of fact LOL...

There are only a couple of Padillas I don't rave about, those being the Habano and the 1948- which is OK but not as good a blend as the 1968... If I had to pick an order to smoke/try the ones I've enjoyed, I'd say:

1932, Miami 8&11 (Pepin), Miami (Padilla), Hybrid, 1968, Cazadores, 1948, Achilles, Obsidian, Habano.

I've got a couple of fivers of the Dominus sitting in the humi, and will break one out this weekend. I can't wait.
