That was a lot faster than I thought. Guess all they wanted a little piece of the action.

The part about the dual wrappers represent the "Two Face'dness" of these super manufactures! Keeping the little guys down... However, Pete is not a little guy, he is quite tall and his following is beyond what any of these other companies will ever have.

This from CigarCyclopedia.com....

BULLETIN: November 19, 2:30 p.m. PST - Altadis U.S.A. and Tatuaje Cigars jointly announced a settlement of their trademark disputes.

The statement noted that the "confidential agreement dismisses all related actions pending in California and Florida," which should include the actions by Altadis U.S.A. against Pepin Garcia as well.

Could someone either tell me or link me to the story behind this? I had no idea there was even any sort of legal dispute between the two.

What cigars fall under the Altadis Umbrella? Whatever they are I'm almost certain I already don't smoke them. I know it's sad for a B&M worker asking this question. That just shows how much attention I pay to their brands/company. Hell General Cigar is in the same ballpark for me. I just don't pass judgement when people buy their stuff. When it comes to personal referrals for cigars I always end up on independent companies.
