[ iQ hUave OTE=smokem94;608750]I just bought a Kimber 45 ACP Pro Carry II (1911) with Crimson Laser Grips!
Never had a Kimber and looking for your thoughts??[/QUOTE]

Posted via Mobile Device i have the ultra carry i really enjoy it you want to run many rounds through it for break in the pro carry might have a slightly less round count due to the longer feed ramp i had feed issues with mine in the beginning due to the tight tolerances

Proud owner of a Kimber or two. My favorite gun is a Kimber....just not sure which one. Shoot a few hundred rounds through it to brk it in. Don't be surprised if you have a few feed issues during brk in. The tolerance is pretty tight from the shop. It will line out and run like a sewing machine. If you ever need to deal with them, customer service is second to none. Nice purchase!

Definately a mighty fine firearm and a good investment....I personally own a Ruger 45.

Mike, I have a Custom Classic that is one of the most accurate, out-of-box pistols I have ever owned. It has functioned flawlessly with factory rounds and my reloads. I consider Kimber a superb firearm in the 1911 platform.

My Ultra CDP II is a great firearm. Hasn't jammed w/ factory ammo and I've only had one jam w/ my SWC reloads. I've fired about 1000 rounds through it. My colt has been tuned up and still jams at least once in 300 rounds. It's a great quality handgun!

Nice pistol Mike! I shot one over the weekend, in chrome with the classic wood grips. In my opinion, it's one of the most refined 1911s that I've ever handled, and accurate as hell.

Great choice.

I was able to swap a guy at the range a mag of his Kimber Pro Carry to for a Mag of my Dan Wesson Pointman Major. I shot it very accuratly at 5 yards. I think you will be very happy with your purchase. You can't beat a 1911 with a good trigger IMO.
