For all of you guys using beads, just wondering what you are keeping them in. I have mine in an assortment of dishes, and some in pantyhose. I am just looking for the best way to keep them. Thanks guys

I have a 100ct humidor, I took the container that had the floral foam in it that came with my humi (attached to the lid with a magnet), cracked it open, and put the pantyhose containing my RH beads inside of it, then a couple of drops of super glue to put it back together. Looks like it belongs, it's easy enough to add some moisture when necessary, and it doesn't take up any precious room inside of my humidor.

I built a custm acryic tray that fits on the bottom of my humidor that is the size of three cedar trays side by side, which is what sits on it. Makes for a huge surface area with beads about half an inch thick all the way across.

Nice, do they sit on the wood directly?

I think I might have to buy me some of those beads after I get some funds together. I have a 100 count that has a floral foam thing that doesn't work the way I would like.

Replacing the foam sounds like a good idea, as does pantyhose

Winner winner chicken dinner! To have your beads be the most effective they can be, they need the largest surface area possible.

I have a bunch in a sack (simialr to panty hose) that I purchased from heartfelt. It rests on the bottom of one of my old foam tray holders and sits mid level in one of my drawers. The others I have in a tupperware that is on the very bottom of my winedore. The most surface area that I can have without taking up too much room.

Like Wade said. weener weener chicken deener. :roundtheh

So do you just spray your beads while they are in the bag?

Posted via Mobile Device Yepper couple of spays each side . roll the beads around a bit while in the bag. Moisture is absorbed into beads. Thow bags back into humi for another month or so. I have a vinotemp 28 bottle. before that an igloo cooler. humidity rock steady for over a year now.

Nice humi Mitch. What are the numbered trays?
I have lots of cigars that I have less than ten of and this is where they live. the numbers match up to an Excel spread sheet so I know what I got and can find it. You damage a lot of cigars if you spend to much time hunting.

I ordered a few bags from heartfelt this morning. I also got a few of those small tubes to put in my desk tops.

Thanks for the info guys.

Here is what I am working with now, just a small tupperware on either side. I have some construction plans for a bottom shelf with fans in it, and may go with a Hydra, but not sure yet.
