He's an Alaskan fishing guide; lives here from mid-October to mid-May. He saw a CI catalog sitting on my desk in the shop, and mentioned that he'd been given a box of cigars as a tip. Just had them in his wader bag, smoked a few, oh, they were really pretty nice ...

"Oh yeah? What kind of cigars?"

"Uhm ... Cabinets."

"... that could be a lot of cigars, man."

"Oh ... uh, the box said ... Ashford? Ashwood?"

"...Ashton?"

"Yeah that's it. Box of 25."

... the 20 or so he hasn't smoked yet have been sitting in his wader bag, in Colorado's relative humidity (read: there is none), for a month now.

GAH!

With any luck, the wader bag has been clammy from being stuffed in close proximity of used boots and waders and thus has stayed properly humidified.:halfgrinw

LOL

oh well.... at least it isn't like my cigar-smoking friend who thinks that 75% humidity is the minimum.
You just gotta give him a properly humidified smoke to enjoy, and he'll see the light. Now I just gotta get my neighbor to realize Rocky Patel is not the end all to cigars.

He smokes 5 Vegas Golds when he's at my place (always have them due to freebie deals, keep them to give away). He knows better than to let them dry out. What's he think that big cherrywood box the cigars live in is for? To keep the room from smelling?
