Just smoked a 5 Vegas Miami "M5" that was gifted to me in one of the three simultaneous bombs I received about a month ago (it was either PLUSH, funkejj, or jwyatt . . . can't remember who). I enjoyed it, but it started out in the medium-full range and then mellowed out quite a bit into medium-bodied levels. Anyone else have this experience with this stick? I was also surprised to read that the filler's comprised (partially? wholly?) of ligero, since the strength of this cigar got so progressively smooth as well and delivered very little kick by the end. Just some thoughts. . . . :smokingbo

It was probably me as I have those and I put it in the bomb. It has been awhile since I smoked one. I do think they are pretty smooth as well. I will have to look to see if I have more and smoke one tonight.

I had one of these and i got real bitter at the end. I've heard that doesnt happen with age. Have you had the Padilla Miami? Glad you enjoyed it!

EDIT: The smoke was smooth, but I should clarify and say that the profile got increasingly light, which was an entirely new experience for me––a stick whose body lightened considerably across the length of the smoke. Taking into account that this is a Pepín blend, this was strange, to say the least (though, again, enjoyable).

Thanks for the thread. The Padilla Miami's on my list of things to try. The B&M I frequent has some, and I'm going there tomorrow, so I might pick one up.
