Oh come on yall, FUUUUUCKKKK.....I hang out with this dood on the regular, why yall gotta inflate his ego like this? Don't you realize what this shit does to the rest of us? Cotdamn he's barely tolerable as it is, always checkin his blog traffic from his iPhone while we're at dinner trying to talk to him. Damn! He don't need compliments like this!!!

I'll be sure to kick Brooks in tha nutz thursday night just because of this thread. Maybe that'll deflate his ego a bit.

Plushy, you want in on this action? I'll kick to the left if you kick to the right....

First, thank you all for the kind words...

The site is a labor of love for me (notice the lack of advertising :) and it is nice to know that other people get some joy from it...

While I do have a fairly large ego (at least concerning my "real" job), I assure you I don't take even one reader for granted...I am also always open to comments on how to make it better...

I know my reviewing skills are not as good as the photography, but hopefully yall will stick with me until they improve :)

Thanks again all for the kind words!

Brooks is a 1st class dude with a 1st class cigar site. BUt then again, I don't hang out with him as much as Duane....If he gets out of hand kick him again form me Duane.

It's easy to trow stones from the sidelines. I like it a lot.

Pray that you not remove your ego, you'd risk loosing your confidence...

There is an attractive transparency in your style that allows you to share your craft/talent & passion/love of cigars in an intimate and respectful environment. The moment you start doing it for the wrong reasons or present your reviews in a condescending way, it will be imediately identifiable. But as evidenced in your previous work, I think you've got that under control... Hopefully at some point, you can earn some money from the site - at least enough to keep it running & perhaps make for some additional stoogie budget (that's never a bad thing)!! Just remember that if you get to the point when you have too many sticks to review - BOTL are willing to step up & help you with guest reviews!!! :halfgrinw

LMAO @ Ron !!!

BTW y'all, not to add insult to injury, but Brooksie's little website also has pretty much the coolest frickin' business card in the entire cigar blog world. If you have one, you know what I'm talking about.

You could cut lines of coke with it!

I agree (with the part about the business card looking cool)! While I haven't used it for parting illicit drugs, I have used it to adjust my Perdomo Vector's flame to great success.
