Opus Lost City release

Yea they look like a really nice cigar however I do not have that kind of silly money either. I wish I knew more about Opus X cigars but man that's just to much dough! Maybe if I wasn't spending my change on shipping bombs I could get one... lol
Do they taste like other Opus's?

Black Band Lancero?

.......went to my B&M last night saw the black band on the lancero was wondering the same thing. Put it out on CF they were just as puzzled.

.......yes, it would depend on what blend they are supposed to be. If those lanceros are from that 2004 crop they are going to be the de shizzel:smokingbo

All of them that I have seen have black bands. Apparently there were only like 300 boxes of the lanceros and the pyramid made, and more of the others, but because of some issues there have acually only been 100 boxes of pyramids made, and between 100-200 of the lanceros. I havent seen or heard anything about a perfecto or love affair, but would love to hear from you guys if those are being released. my local had like 100 boxes of these things stacked up in the humi today al double robos and robos. Their 10 boxes of lanceros and 10 boxes of pyramids are already gone.

Oh and my info about the fewer number of boxes comes from them calling their fuente rep a little pissed off today after finding out they wont be able to fill all their preorders because of the mix up. Cheers!

I just lit up the robusto. Nice draw and nice construction. It doesn't have that Opus spice yet, but I'm hopeful. Great white ash and solid burn so far.

For you PA, NJ and NY folk, Holt's cigar company in Philadelphia will be getting these and the 22 sets later this week...or so I'm told. And there is a possiblity they will break up some of the ten boxes for single sales...

The Lost City's are in. At least in the NE Philly location. I just picked up a single Toro last night.

smoked a lancero last night. started off very smooth, suprisingly so, they gradually built into nice rich spice. it took over two and a half hours, but was rott.

Ok, I just confirmed, as was mentioned, the Lost City Lanceros DO have the black bands, but are NOT the Lost City blends, they are the regular Opus Blend...Apparently, there was a "screwup" at the factory...

Also, the Love Affair will be sold as a Semi-ish regular release, although the price on them I heard varied from $12-$18 each...

Box 107/300 Lost City Lanceros, 5er pic from earlier, AF Shark, AF BTL, and apparently there's more to come. I'm not sure what I did but whatever it was it was good.

Just Keep this in mind guys, This Opus X Lost city is a once in a life time release. Like it was said on CF, These will turn into the new VSG ER's. Not saying to hoard them forever. But they will be very htf cigars in a very short time.
