A Crappy Day!

So... I get to my classroom this morning to find that it was broken into over the weekend. They stole six student laptops, my laptop, and projector. My computer was only a month old and had 11 years worth of files/lesson plans etc. (and no, I didn't have it backed up.. I know) I feel especially bad for my kids as we were right in the middle of a research project and they had been working on a Power Point project as well.

I just hate it when kids suffer because of the actions of others.
It turned into a good conversation with my class and obviously I learned a valuable lesson as well. Hopefully, they catch the kids that did this.

That is horrible, and disgusting. What kind of person would steal from a school. I am very sorry to hear this, and hopefully when these idiots try to pawn the laptops their arrested and everything is recovered.

Dude, that sucks! My girlfriend is a teacher and I know how much she works for her kids and feels for them. Having someone come in a steal from you is not a good feeling at all, you feel violated in some way. Hope they catch the people responsible.
