Huh, I can't get plume on my cigars, I have several aged opus, 2 boxes of VSG. One of the boxes are like 3-4 yrs old at minimum. Along with a box of Oliva series V lances. Non of them have plume forming. I keep my wine cooler at 65/65'ish. I wish I could get plume. But homestly don't you want those oils to stay in the cigar? isn't that part of the cigars flavor?

was about to say ...then kept reading. This is what I heard as well. That plume is the oils being released from the leaf, oils = flavor. Ideally us smokers would want the oil/flavor to stay in the cigar. I'm sure there are two camps, and the plum does look nice. However, I would much rather had all the flavor stay right where it should.
