Hi guys, everyone here's awesome, I thought I'd start by saying that, it's just the caliber of people here is truly amazing-it is an honor to be a part of BOTL-so damn refreshing...anyways I have smoked 2 cc-1 Partagas Serie D # 4 and one Ramon Allones Specially Selected-loved the RASS, would definately buy a box if i could, first stick I have come across that I found to be box worthy.....didn't like the Partagas as much, don't get me wrong, it's an amazing cigar...I just liked the RASS stick more....anyways you're probably saying get to it already-anyways here is my question-since I liked the RASS a real lot, and the Partagas not as much, I just found the RASS more flavorful, a flavor bomb actually, to me what would you suggest to try that is also a flavor bomb with nice complexities? Thanks in advance guys for your looking, and your input, I know your responses will be great, I am not worthy of BOTL's kindness....Merry Christmas to everyone here!!!!!!!!

I agree wholeheartedly but I also love the PSD4, currently smoking one right now.

bolivar has a flavor profile like nothing else. And it really works for me. :tiphat:

There are alot of good cigars out there. But if I could recomend something other than the RASS or PSD4 it would be Partagas 8-9-8 Varnished, H.Upmann Sir Winston and I'll also go with the guys about giving the Bolivar Coronas Extra a try as well:thumbsup:
I saw you already made your purchase, but next time take a look at the San Luis Rey Double Corona, Juan Lopez Seleccion #1, or the Por Larranaga Petite Corona. The SLR Double Corona is one of my favorite sticks.
The RASS profile is definetly a different profile. I am not a big fan of the stick. They often take a while to be ready and generally dont smoke great fresh.
As to smokes that are good fresh and strong flavor profile I would agree with the PSP2 and Mag 46 recomendations. Current production PSP kills D4s. Mag 46s while different from RASS can be very amazing and very full flavor. RyJ Short Churchills, VR Famoso also smoke good fresh. As for Party Shorts they require time. Great flavors after settled, but unruly when fresh. With time one of the best small CCs out. Dont forget about trini reyes.

Have had all these and find none of them similar to RASS. The closest maybe the JL #1 but very different still in my experience compared to the RASS. I found all these to be medium flavor smokes. The PLs take a minimum of 2 years to smoke well.
