Padilla Signature 1932 Limitado Oscuro

Hey guys, quick question...

I have been looking around for one of these sticks to review, and can buy them online for about $30/stick...

Now I have no problem paying that much for a stick to review, but I have also run across a Salomon (mostly on CBID) of the same name...those are QUITE a bit cheaper...

Now, my spidysense tells me that despite the description of the cigars, these are not the same stick as what was in the original humidor (which held 15 Robustos, 15 Torpedoes and 15 Churchhills), but I really don't have any idea...

Any help would be helpful

I have several and after i received the Salamone's i quickly realized that there was an exclusive 1932 oscuro line that as you stated was quite pricey. I've had the pleasure of smoking one of these, and it's almost akin to a Cain F on Steroid's.... One of the things I love about Cain's is the complexity of the Cigar.

It's very woody, spicy, creamy, VERY FULL Bodied, FULL STRENGTH, Lot's of Smoke, and a long lingering aftertaste! PM me and i'll send you one for your review! :computer: :thumbsup:

The new Salamon is a legitimate 32 oscuro allright (I have some resting) and they go for closer to $15 on cbid instead of $30 (probably because they get them as exclusives, as CI is now the official US distriibutor of Padilla cigars).

But of course these are the Padilla-rolled sticks, and don't command the price of the old Pepin-rolled ones (just like the current production natural 32s are so much cheaper). And to my knowlwdg these Salamons are the only 32 oscuros this year--no humidor sets like under Pepin, at least not that I've heard of.

I have not smoked one yet, as they are HUGE and it's freezing now. But rest will do these some good anyway I have no doubt. The reviews/comments I've heard so far is that they're good but probably need some humi time (seems to be this year's theme for good cigars, lol).

I'm happy to trade you one for review if you want!

Well, that is just it...the Salamones are not expensive at all (not even close)..so that leads me to believe they are not the same blend/wrapper...

If you can FIND the old ones, get some. They'd be two years old now at the youngest and I'm sure they're awesome.

The current regular 32 is the exact same cigar as before, but I really can't say for sure about the new Oscuro.
