I'm finally taking the plunge, and getting a 28 bottle wine cooler in January (part of present for my birthday, to myself)
And of course, i'm gonna need a few drawers and maybe a shelf or 2....
But I have not heard from him, seen him around or know of anyway to get a hold of him....
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.... and if there is someone out there that can make the same quality stuff at good prices... that could come in handy.

Thanks guys.

Chasden makes GREAT drawers and shelves. I just got mine last month and he does excellent work! He takes awhile as he does them in big batches, but it's well worth the wait IMO. He just recently started his last batch and I believe that round is full but you should contact him now if you want in on the next round. He posts updates on another board so if you want more info PM me, but he should answer emails from his website.

His website doesn't do his work justice btw.

Not sure what you are looking for... what is your definition of "trays?"

In your original post, you asked for:
"And of course, i'm gonna need a few drawers and maybe a shelf or 2...."

That's exactly what Chasden does... cedar drawers and shelves.

Chasden makes really nice trays... but they are Oak lined with cedar... I would really like the cedar ones like mouse used to make.
His shelves are fine, but it wont look uniform with the trays and I'm kind of particular about these things.... it will just bother me.

I believe he can do it several different ways, I know jolietfire ordered something a little different than the ones pictured on his site. Might want to shoot chasidor an email and see what he can do.

Are those yours Justin? I just ordered a red mahogany double on this last go round and a few cedar shelves. Chas is a great bro!

How many sticks can you fit into a double?

Nope not mine, someday maybe. I was wondering that too and I think you can stack them 3 high

Yes like others have said he makes all cedar drawers too. Look at the link I gave you in the PM, I believe you will see it. But the picture twenty5 posted is one of his stock pictures of his all cedar drawers.

Even if you don't like anything Chas currently does, he takes custom requests depending on his schedule. You could easily email him a picture of what you already have and he will say if he can match it.

BrandonJ... twenty5 is correct that you can stack the cigars 3 high in the double drawer. If they are small ring gauge, you can get 4 high just barely, but I have only done it in a couple spots. Each double drawer can hold a bunch of cigars, I will have to take pics of mine for reference if I can get some time this week!?!

Can you do me a favor and give me the interior dimensions when you get time? I have an Avanti now (thanks to funkejj) and I will be making drawers very similar to his. Do yours have the glass tops or are they open and slotted?

Justin if you look at my wineador thread you can see my chasden drawers. Mine are closed with glass tops. Interior dimensions should be similar between most units. If you haven't gotten the info you need I'll measure mine when I'm back in town.

I would need to pull out a drawer when I can to measure them, but from Chasden he says the following in his thread:

The factory racks (of the wine coolers) measure approximately:
28-bottle Vinotemp - 15 x 11 1/2
28-bottle EdgeStar - 14 1/2 x 11 1/2

Mine have the glass tops. I was torn on what I wanted and still am, but I definitely know there are big RH swings in my unit when the cooler/fan kicks on. Chas did a good study with multiple hygrometers and made a spreadsheet of the RH in his Vino when the cooler was running vs not running. He made a great case of having the glass top. It's not a sealed glass top so RH can get in, but it helps stabilize the big swings.
