I wonder when the new logo will go into effect, and if there will be a run on the stuff out there now so people can have original Tat logo cigars?
According to what I have heard (and these are just rumors mind you), he will still be able to use the old logo on the Major Tat brands...

I believe that could be the case although not sure. Not that he needs it to sell a good cigar in IMHO as he has enough recognition and if the new logo on his site will replace the old he should be fine.

Am i the only one that isnt digging the new logo? Just seems to be a little to much going on...:dunno:.
This logo is in the classic tradition of some of the oldest brand names out there like Chateau Haut Brion and Johnnie Walker, just to name a few. I'll bet you'll remember it even if you don't like it. See it once and go WTF and see it twice and go, it's Pete Johnson's logo.

Nope, you're not a lone. I'm not into that at all to be honest. Doesn't remind me of a cigar logo. Not that it changes the cigar anyways, though.

With the way cigar packaging is headed these days, I'm just glad it's not a guy holding a sword or some dumbass on a motorcycle.

I think it's reminiscent of the fauxfan scroll typefonts used in trade stamps akin to sears and roebuck adds at the turn of the century. I'm interested to see how it's going to be applied to print and packaging...
