Venting....Ebay....

So I bought this knife on Ebay a week or so ago and as of today I have not seen it. I emailed the seller and asked if he had shipped it yet. He said it was not in stock yet and he should receive it next week. He didn't state in the auction that he did not have the item and he was kind of crappy when responding to the email. I am a huge supporter of Ebay and have bought and sold thousands of items but some people like this just suck.

.............PLEASE put your experience in the sellers feedback so the next person doesnt share the same experience. It seems,lately, too many people believe it doesnt do anything but if I see a fresh negative feedback (even if the seller is at 99%) ill take a second look...........

i don't like sellers like that. the same goes for online cigar shops that let you put the item in your cart,pay for it and then send you an email saying it's on back order.

This ebay situation is a growing trend. Ever since they started the tv commercials on how to be a sucessful home based business on ebay you are seeing more and more markets that are not stocking the goods. I am buying more and more shit from amazon and others for this reason. Yet another example of scammers.

After a few emails back and forth he did refund my money and I was able to purchase the same item elsewhere. I just hate it when people are not upfront with this kind of information.

Sorry to hear that Lauren. I'm in the same predicament myself right now. December 12 I got an Ipod for my girlfriends birthday on ebay and still haven't seen it. I got a message saying the ebay seller had 2 heart attacks and won't be able to send my item until he recovers. I mean I can understand something like that could happen but they didn't even offer a refund and it almost seems like a scam. So considering that and the fact that my girlfriends bday was last week I opened a case and am currently trying to get my money back.

That sucks. I also have an ipod story. My son got a 8gb nano for xmas and when he went to use it the headphones would not plug in. I looked at it and it looks like someone broke a headphone jack off in there and it will not come out. It looks like someone must have returned it to the store and they put it back on the shelf or something. We are going to be returning it for sure.

Nice knife. Kershaw is what I carry too, or Benchmade. I can get my hands on Kershaws, but not the one you list if you are ever looking again.

Ebay can really suck sometimes. I had a item come broken in the mail and the seller would not send or refund my money. He accused me of trying to scam home out of another item.
Some people are crazy.

What kershaws do you like? I currently have been carrying a cold steel recon folder for the past year. It's an awesome knife but I am just bored with it and was looking for a spring assisted one. I was also looking at the kershaw composite junkyard dog and the oso sweet. Can you get either of those?

Sellers like that stink. I sold something recently and the buyer paid right away so I posted up a positive rating. I emailed tracking number and confirmation of delivery and no feed back. I emailed the asshole twice asking to leave feedback and nothing. Jag-off!
