My contract is up in 2 weeks. Retiring an LG Shine.

Either talk me into an IPhone or talk me out of it. (AT&T Network subscriber)

I hear they make a phone out of hair combs now. You might be able to build your own. On a more serious note I have the iphone and for my profession I can not live with out it. It is my most used tool.

If your all ready on AT&T you must go with the Iphone. My 0.2

I do not have one Because I am on Sprint. If I had AT&T i would go with it.

I love my iPhone. This is my second one, and my first lasted over 2 years, and I am hard on phones. I was supprised how durable it was.

In the same boat. Contract up with AT&T and trying to decid whether to stay and get iphone or switch to Verizon and get droid. Never had a smart phone so either would be an upgrade for me.

I've had an iPhone for 2 years - unlimited everything with AT&T. Very dependable and durable. You can even get the TextPlus app and join the BOTL group that Eric posted about last week. We're on there everyday -startin early in the mornin.

I absolutely love my iPhone. I've had it for 1.5 years now. The worst thing about it is AT&T, so if you're already with AT&T, then there is nothing to loose!!

I recommend the IPhone 100%. I love mine and will never have another phone as long as it is out. AT&T on the other hand is a little sketchy IMHO.

I love my iphone and hated my Blackberry. AT&T offers the best coverage in my area, most of my contacts have AT&T and thier family plan works well for me. I have never had any trouble with coverage while traveling so I'm more than happy with AT&T and the iphone. I give it 2 thumbs up.

I would do a little research first and see if AT&T is going to get a good Android phone. As good as the iPhone was the Android platform is coming with a full head of steam and will probably be the dominant platform of the future. For example in Android 2.1 they have animated backgrounds, which is pretty freaking amazing. With the iPhone you have to go through jailbreaking it to get some features that are standard business for Android phones. The iPhone is a nice phone, but it basically is a Application cabinet. A phone that runs Android is just far more powerful at this point in time. If you can, switch networks and get a Droid on Verizon, if not do some serious research and see if you can get a phone with Android. If either of those don't work out get an iPhone, but maybe try and get an older one for cheap online and save your contract for a newer phone that comes out this year.
