Yeah, beads are the way to go. I've got a glass top and the rh is holding steady at 65%. And don't worry too much about the fluctuation. If it goes down to around 65% and you keep it that way (again, with beads), the change won't hurt your sticks.

Yes for beads. and your humi seesm fine, nothig wrong with Savoy. I know you have a digital, but one of mine read 4% low and one 4% high. USing a calibration kit, or the salt test you can see if yours are off. I just know that when the one say 58% it acctuallt 62% and so on. Boveda sells a kit, Cigarsolutions sells a Hygro that can be calibrated, that come with a kit for about $25. Well worth it. Also nothing wrong with having 2 hygros. You can try the Salt test (google it) but you are not in a lab, so getting exact readings will be...i don't know...up in the air

I have a digital
THat doesn't mean it's properly calibrated, or you know how much over or under the reading is off of reality.

Unless the instructions that came with your hygrometer explicitly say not to, do a search on "Salt test" and follow the instructions.

Wow.... you must have failed English.

To your problem- what the other guys have said sounds good. Calibrate your hygrometers and dish the disc, get beads. www.heartfeltindustries.com
