Thinking about the Criollo... Anyone tried it lately? I tend to like full bodied cigars, but this one sounds like a nice change of pace.

Ive only had the maduro. I dont remember much about its specific flavor profile but do remember that I liked it a lot. They arent as full bodied you might expect. Of coarse, I havent had any of the other blends. Great draw and flawless burn on the two I had though. Great packaging, beautiful construction and presentation. Definitely worth a try.

The Maduro is great with a cup of black coffee. Haven't had the Criollo yet. Have a Sumatra sitting in my humidor. That one's number is almost up though.

I personally like all of the Kristoff cigars except for the maduro version. The maduro wasn't that good to me, but I my favorite Kristoff would be the Sumatra.

The sumatra is great in my opinion, and is my fav. of the 3... It's pretty balanced, good flavors... It's just right!!
The Maduro has a sweetness to it that is nice, but it also has some stronger flavors from the blend. I like it...
Good cigars... Well made, very full, heavy, and I have never had draw issues with one.

I've only had the criollo (the churchill). I love the way they look and feel (hefty, a beautifully oily wrapper with a closed foot and a pigtail cap), though I found the flavor development a little too uneven and the overall profile slightly weak.

Has anyone had their other line? I think they're called Vengeance or something like that.

The Kristoff line is better then the Vengeance line, I think, only because of the harshness in the V line. I really like Kristoff's, especially the ligero maduro. The only line I did not care too much for was the Sumatra line, which I found to be a little on the weak and bland side. These used to be a really affordable smoke a year ago at about 5 a stick out the door at the local BM, but now they are all around 8, which seems to be the magic number these days...

The Kristoff and Vengeance lines are both worth a try. My personal favorite is the Vengeance Maduro Ligero. The Kristoff cigars tend to be hearty slow-burning cigars with a lot of tobacco inside.

What is the sumatra like?
To me, the sumatra is really sweet with some spice and floral notes. It is very slow burning though. I smoked it after Thanksgiving lunch, and the robusto was a 2 hr 45 min smoke. It was probably the longest time I've ever spent smoking a robusto. Most robustos typically take me about an 1hr 45 to 2hrs.

I've smoked I belive all of the most recent Kristoff brands and liked them all. I wouldn't say the stand out but a decent smoke compared to most. I know my wife likes the aroma and they are a fairly smooth cigar.
I did try the Vengence and was not impressed at all.

I've had a couple of Kristoff's but haven't been overly impressed as of yet. I think they are a bit overpriced for what they are. The maduro version I tried not too long ago tasted like I was sucking on a copper pipe.
