I wanted to know who had been to the shop in Cancun and were the prices ok or too high. I am going there for vacation and was thinking of picking up some cigars to bring back.

Thanks,

very cool place. The prices are high but its worth it tostop in for a smoke and a mojito. They have a nice outside deck. Super friendly staff.

Cheaper to buy your own and bring em with you. Every tourist hot spot charges almost double what you can get them for on your own.

There is another LCDH in Playa Del Carmen. If you are doing a side trip there, it might offer slightly better prices.

Prices have nothing to do with it being Cancun. Taxes are horrid here for that. PSD4 for around $20-$25 each.

So when they are charging like $6.00 US for a Te-Amo cigar in Playa Del Carmen, that's taxes? I just thought it was tourist prices but I see your point. Taxes are very high in Canada too.

LCDH in Playa Del Carmen has better pricing by far.

However, they were remodeling last time I was there, so you might want to be sure the are open and fully stocked.

Playa Del Carmen is a neat place to shop, eat, and grab some time on the beach. 5th Street runs parallel to the beach, and all of the shops and restaraunts are on that street (including LCDH)...Everything from small souvenir shops to high end jewelry stores with armed gurads out front.

PM me if you need more info!

Geez....without spellcheck, I write like a caveman! There are armed gaurds outside, not armed gurads.

...Armed gourds?
No worries I was reading so fast I read it as Guards. I didn't even notice untill your 2nd post
