I feel that after reading through this thread and others like it that I've simply been putting too much faith into reviews, I've been treating them as if they were the ultimate buying guide to picking up cigars enmasse as opposed to advice on trying something you may like. Further more I realize now that I've also omitted the idea where if in the best case scenario if I was to buy a box of cigars and love them, I would simply not have the urge to smoke anything else. Such narrow mindedness is naive and I realize now that my taste for cigars, like all things, may change over time and that without the help of everyone contributing here, and else where, that it would of taken me much longer to realize all of this.
My aim now is to take things slow and enjoy finding out what brands and models I really like. I know I won't enjoy ever cigar I try but that will just be part of the experiences on my road into the culture, that being said, I know that without a doubt I'll be looking forward to sharing them with all of you in addition to a few cigars along the way = P
I'll always remember a cigar is something meant to be enjoyed, not rushed, even when it comes to collecting = )
