I blew through a whole Sunday looking for dresses for my girls as our daddy/daughter dance is this Friday. And, we know how girls are, they can't wear the same dress as last year, or heaven forbid they have to wear the dress a sister wore some prior year.

I must have hit 5 stores and still we did not find one for my 10 year old.

I feel your pain. A few months ago there was a middle school dance, and we did the whole dress thing. And we hired a hairstylist to come over before the dance to do our 12 year olds hair. Ten min after the stylist left we cought her in her room taking her hair down... She said she looked like an old lady with her hair up. I was not pleased! Boys are so much easier.

Yep, last year, I took them to get there hair done for the dance as well. They loved it, it is the best $60 I spent to see the smile on their faces.

Hahahahaha, good luck with that. This year i felt like using one of my old dresses for the sake of earning money but my ma wants me to buy a new one anyways. I guess it's an american thing... though, wouldn't be sure of that either because most women need new dresses.... hmmmmm, i'm afraid to even think if i'm even a normal girl... ?

Ah, the Daddy/Daughter Dance. Cherish it my friend. I wish I let my hair down a little more when I took my girls (2 at a time).

These will be the moments they remember.

Have fun and don't be a stick in the mud like I was.
