Woke to 2 FEET of snow!!!!!!!!!

Snowing at the rate of about 2 inches an hour here in the Pocono's today, first big snow of the season. All the other Noreasters have missed us.

We got about 10 inches last night. None today...but crazy winds so the drifts are already a couple feet high. Should be a fun drive tonight!

Been snowed in sine Friday and we are in blizzard conditions today. Our best best day was Sunday when the first storm subsided. Today we are in blizzard conditions and counting the inches. I haven't been at work since thursday and the Fed gov't has been shut down since friday afternoon.
BTW my office follows the Fed Gov't schedule, that's why I haven't been working.

Not quite snowed in, but still way too much. Went to work today in the rain and got sent home in a blizzard. I'll take a half day off with pay any time LOL.

I'm glad I heaped all the snow on my neighbor's side of the driveway--because the wind is blowing hard from the north--it's a natural barricade and keeping my driveway from piling up.

I went out a little earlier and shoveled down to where the state trucks keep plowing my driveway in... That way, I can shovel that and then the rest of the drive will be a breeze.
