Its actually working very well. I've had the small base unit with 3 sensor in the humi and each sensor reads both temp and humidity. All in under $50 and I dont have to open anything or have wires hanging out. The sensors have a range of up to 300' as well. I'm using the La Crosse Technology WS-9023U base unit with 3 wireless TX21U sensors.I dont know, I have never seen or thought about a unite like that, but its got me thinking.:dunno: Im looking forward to the other Brothers comments. Good luck to you.
I actually did a salt test on three of these and they were smack on. I threw all of my old regular digital in the trash and will stick to these. The great part about being able to have 3 seperate remotes work off the the on base is that you keep track of that many seperate humis in one place or seperate zones if you have a big one like I do.remote hygros are awesome. no need to open humi to check humidity. Also great for cabinets because you can check humidity on bottom, middle, and top. But none that i have found are recalibratable, or very accurate. But thats ok, just calibrate periodically with a Boveda, and mark the difference on the home unit.
Ok where can I get one from, La Cross said they would not sell them to an individual.:dunno:Its actually working very well. They come with a mount and 2 screws and also some double sided tape. My cabinet drawers are wood so i screwed the mount to the back of the drawer but if you were using it in a coolidor or a something similar you can use the tape. They come with a rain cap that covers them, but I took them off since they wont be in the rain. I've been very happy with them. The instructions dont say they cant be laid down? Guess you would have to check that out for yourself.Wow...You sold me!
About how big are the sensors? Do they just "lay" wherever you want to place them, or can they be mounted?
Thanks for the info!
Sorry for the double. They are maybe 5" tall x 1" thick x 2" wide.Wow...You sold me!

Nice. I hope yours work as well as mine are.Your review talked me into these. Just had delivered the base station with 3 wireless sensors. Jazzed to see how it works!
Well, so far they aren't as accurate as your were. With the salt test now at 24hrs they are only up to 65% rh.===== QUOTE Vegan702 ====
