your opinions. Was on the NHC site this week searching for a few ideas. Here is what I came up with, what would you do?

  1. Illusione MJ12 Box of 20
  2. El Truinfador 2008 Box of 25
  3. El Truinfador 2009 Box of 25

Any feed back would be apprieciated. I was able to search and find some info was just hoping for some more.

Thanks in Advance

I havent Had either, but I do love cigar dilemmas because in the end you always end up winning :)

Good luck with your choice !

If you are at the point where you are not sure either about what you love or what you should try, I'd go with some samplers or maybe fivers. Chances are even though all of these are good cigars, unless you plan on smoking the entire box within the next month or so, it will end up sitting around while you try other things. Remember that tastes change and it's easy to end up with a humidor full of good cigars that are just not what you want to be smoking right now.

If you are getting into aging, I'd say go for it, but again, try to put down some fivers as you may not like in a year what you like now.

Gosh ... both #1 and #2 are great GREAT cigars. (I'd go for the 2008 over 2009, though, as imvho the El Ts are a lot better with age).

I am assuming you're had both of these, right? If not--there are plenty of guys here who can trade you a couple of each to try first (including myself), and I'd highly recommend doing that first, since a blind full-box purchase--even on the recommendation of cool guys like us--isn't the best idea ever.

Wise advice.
