Apparently they give you a ten inch stick and you can cut it to any size you want. Seems like a gimmick to sell smokes and not a very good idea.

What do you guys think?

Just saw this yesterday and thought the same thing: Gimmick. IT looks like they took two identical sticks, laid them foot to foot and patched them together with strip of leaf.

It's not primarily a gimmick, it's an ANTI SCHIP thing, an F-U to taxes. They roll 2 cigars together, but since cigars are taxed by the stick irrespective of size, they essentially pay 1/2 the taxes! I think it's brilliant.
