I missed out the avanti deal maybe I'll go for this one.

That open box unit pricing is pretty tempting, and those pre-made shelves would be nice.

I would be all over that open box had I not just purchased the 28 bottle Avanti from Target! Might purchase it just for the hell of it!

FYI guys the wood shelving that came in my wood mondel edgestar I would exactly call wood at all. More like compress stained pressboard. And I wouldnt trust it to hold more then a couple boxes a shelve. Maybe these are dif because you're buying actual shelves but id find out first.

Good deals right there, never used the Edgestar, but had an Avanti just like it and it worked like a charm. Thinking of going back to a wine cooler setup since my cabinet will get too hot here in FL.

The shelves do look nice though....they look like wood slats. But Justin makes a very good point and it would be worth checking out.

Same. I gave them a call this afternoon and they said they have no ETA on any incoming stock but she said to check back in 5 days or so and they will most likely have them. I'll let you know if I see them pop up for sale.

Just bought the open box unit. Looks like I got the last one available today, but they should probably have some in the next week. Keep checking back daily.

Came today. There's a few scratches on the front but not too bad. I threw a flashlight in and went into a dark room and the seal looks pretty good. It opens a bit when you pull lightly on the door, but not a good amount. Not sure if there is anyway I can make it seal tighter. I still have to order beads so It's going to be a little while before It's up and running. I have my tupperdor sitting in there with the boveda pack, closed up keeping the temps though. For $100 this was a steal.

Should I do that now, or wait til the beads are in? I've only read up a bit on seasoning. Also, how are the kitty litter beads? Worth shelling out $60 for 2 lbs of heartfelt beads?

I love the Heartfelt beads. I have 2pds in mine and am using them in 2 desktop humidors as well. They work great. Totally worth the money imho.
