I just received this email from CRA.....

"Just Released: Cigar 1 of 10 to be announced in the upcoming CRA Cigar Sampler #2 is the Alec Bradley Tempus.

Cigar 2 of 10 in the upcoming CRA Cigar Sampler #2 is the La Auroa 100 Anos.

Description:

For the first time in its 100+ year history, La Aurora Cigars has carefully blended the 100 Años into a Toro-size cigar -- and it will never be made again because the tobacco is no longer available. Adding to its unique offering, this cigar is constructed with 100% Dominican tobacco, used for the Wrapper, Binder and Filler!

CRA is proud to announce cigar 3 of 10 in the upcoming CRA Cigar Sampler #2 -- the Cuba Aliados Miami Edition.

Description:

This limited-edition cigar has been hand-rolled exclusively for CRA members with the utmost care. Making only 300 cigars each day, Cuba Aliados offers this cigar with a rare and exquisite medium body experience. The Wrapper is made from Nicaraguan Habano tobacco, the Binder from Dominican tobacco, and the Filler from Nicaraguan tobacco.

Cigar 4 of 10 in the CRA Sampler 2 is the Avo Classic #2.

http://www.facebook.com/l/a0a3a;bit.ly/bezRb3

Description:

This carefully crafted blend of five different tobaccos results in a rich and mellow flavor. The Cuban Piloto seed, San Vicente filler and binder, blended with Dominican Olor leaves, offers the CRA Avo a special aroma, in this mild, yet flavorful cigar. Davidoff USA President Peter Banninger noted, "We are proud to make this carefully crafted cigar available to the members of CRA. It should prove to be a memorable moment."

FOR SHAME!!

I wonder if they will make everyone re-up for another year's membership before being able to purchase Sampler #2. I guess I don't care, as I'm in either way.

HUH?! I believe I was jipped'. I could name 1 or 2 I wouldn't mind seeing replaced in my sampler.....

When I saw this pic before, I was curious because some of those sticks were in Sampler #1, and it seems odd that they'd repeat some sticks. But who knows.

I guess I should open sampler number 1 and start puffing away. I will have to crack it open this summer when the weather is warm.

I was already a member when the first sampler came out and I didn't have to buy another year's membership just purchase the sampler 1. I think they have to do any gimmicks to gain members as most people who enjoy smoking cigars are more than happy to join the good fight.

+1. I still havent smoked one from the pack yet.
My biggest problem since I started smoking cigars is the fact that I struggle with nature of collecting when it comes to rare cigars. When I was younger I collected sports cards and then got into comics and that sensibility has now carried into cigars. I just have to keep telling myself that cigars are more enjoyable lit and in my mouth instead of sitting in my humidor, lol.

Picked up my sampler today at Bo's cigar lounge in Long Beach.

I really enjoyed the EPC Inaugural Edition I smoked there. 2 hours for this stick and I still didn't finish it.

Anybody else picking these up yet?
