Hell Teddy Roosevelt is the assface that was president when we were gifted with the progressive income tax.
So, I'm with you as far as Washington being a corrupt disaster these days, but are you really saying we'd be better off with a flat tax?

Right off the bat I disagree, though I'd be interested in talking it through if you're up for it. Debate room thread? Or is everyone sick of arguing politics already? :grin: :riflefire

its all good...I just thought I would lighten up the mood a little. even I was getting into serious mode and then I saw the graphs thought of pie graphs and that reminded me of cake and that reminded me of the reason why I don't eat cake anymoe...man I hate wade...

Nice civil discussion. My opinion on taxes is just make it a simple, straight sales tax. People who buy more, pay more taxes.
