Ok so I posted a bit ago about looking for a pre-converted wineador..Just happened to be looking at the Feb edition of CA and saw the Liebherr cigar cooler that they have a small article on.

Thought wow, that looks like just the thing I'd want. No price was given in the article, so I went on the company's website that was listed. There they have the specs and links to dealers, but no prices listed. Link to specs

So I phone the local dealer, asking for a price on this humi (which measures a tidy 24"x16"x18", perfect size for my desk or counter top I was thinking)

I almost fell over when the lady phoned me back and said that with tax and delivery it would be

THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!?!!?!??? :bigeyes::bigeyes::bigeyes::bigeyes:

Found it a bit cheaper online though if any of you guys have spare bricks of cash sitting around...only $2500 here.

for 200 bux you pick up an Avanti 28 bottle.
100 bux give or take for drawers and shelves.
50 bux for beads.
20 bux for a hygrometer.
and you got about 2130$ left to blow on smokes!

Yep, total! I find this funny, "Maintaining this humidity and keeping to a storage temperature of 41 °F to 68 °F"

Who the hell here would keep their cigars at 41 °F. Just a converted wine chiller, and not even that big.

Hah, I also went looking for that thing after seeing it in CA. I love the style of it, but I just can't see blowing that much cash on such a small unit when there's dramatically better options out there.
