Does anyone know if the are ETCs that can control 2 Coolers at once?

I am looking for one ETC the will regulate both of my coolers.

Any help is appreciated.

Most I've looked at have 1 thermometer, and one output. I'm sure there is something that can handle more than one unit, I have not seen it myself.

I called Dwyer on the phone and the TSS2 should handle what you need if you just want to use their brand thermistor units. The nice thing is that you can panel mount it on any of your units, or just create an external control box. It is designed to accept two inputs with independent relays output for dual stage temperature control. So, theoretically you can independently set 2 different temperatures in your 2 coolers. $65, plus I think ~$18 for each thermister cable/probe.

If you want to go crazy, you can use the unit below, but at $265, its considerable more expensive. Its a 1/32 DIN, Dual Zone Control, Fuzzy Logic, Self-Tune PID.

I just spoke with a sales guy here, and he said he could wire two Ranco ETC's so there was only one power cord to plug in. and then we could attach the two units so they could be mounted as one. Might be an option for you. I know many guys use the ronco etc and are happy with it. he also said there is noaddtional charge for wiring them up like this, and if he had specs on cord lengths, he could accomadte that as well

Those Ranco's are good units. It seems like they should just make a ETC-211100 unit with two inputs, since it already has 2 2-stage relays and the OPs problem would be solved!

I just ordered a 111000 today to control a chest freezer for my beer. I like the fact that you can order them already pre-wired.

Randy
