You can roll that 250 over every month also and if you spend say 350 in a month that 100 rolls to the next month so you have to spend 3000 a year that includes lighters cutters whatever you get guess passes to the people you bring can put thier stuuff on your account so it really isnt a bad deal

I just called and got some information. The VIP lounge sounds outstanding. I'm probably going to head over there tomorrow if anyone else wants to join me. LMK :)
When will you be there? I am in Indy right now for work, and was going to stop by when I get back to Chicago tomorrow. I will probably be there in the mid to late afternoon.

So it is a minimum buy versus a fee. Interesting concept. How are prices?

Good on some stuff and a bit high on others. They also have a vintage room, where you can find some interesting stuff. Worth every penny IMHO. You won't find a nicer store anywhere in the country!!! Come on out and we'll show you around Chuck.

I just love the idea. Helps the owner and makes you buy into the store. Very cool. I pass through Chicago a lot but usually just O'hare. I will try for a longer layover next time.

Please do. The store is only 35 minutes straight south of O'Hare on 294. We are never far away, so let us know!! It would be great to meet you.

I was thinking probably around 2:00-3:00, but doesn't matter too much. It's going to be nice to be able to meet and have a smoke with you!

I'm curious to see what other brands they carry, the humidor looks huge!

So it's not a 250 membership monthly... It's a purchase amount that grants you all the perks of the place.
Not a bad deal at all in that case. For those that are there often enough, it's great.
Looking forward to seeing this place one day.

Holy shit... this place is amazing, I already can't wait to go back! I got to meet a couple brothers, Jere and Justin, while I was there. Thanks for the sticks, Justin! Much appreciated :)

I suggest anyone check this place out when you get a chance!

Feelings mutual, Jere.

Awwww, I didn't forget! I feel like an idiot now, sorry Rich! No hard feelings, haha. Lack of sleep last night has me all out of whack today.

Am I the only guy who looks at that and sees a shop that looks like more of a destination than a tobacconist? I haven't been there but I know the owners from their previous 2 stores. Good selection, great turnover, well respected. This just looks like it is less the cigar and more the "good life". We all blast CA but have to mop up the floor under our open mouths when we think of this place.

Those of you who know Mike & Sammy better than I, what do you think? Did they sell out to get this done? Can you go in there, have a great conversation with the staff and learn something or is it stocked with $7 lackies in order to afford the mortgage? Please, give me some reassurance this "mecca" of cigar stores is truly worth the hype!

Well the kid that waited on me was NOT knowledgeable at all... In fact I just took the tour and tried to block him out with every ounce of my being and let my eyes just take in all the wonderful selections they offered. Anyone that can call and opus X an opus exey is an idiot in my book, sorry. I'm sure some of there staff is probably very knowledgeable but I was not fortunate enough to get one of those guys.

Craig, I believe you are asking if anyone has a clue and do they have a selection. Either Mike or Sammy are always there. Eli appears a bit clueless, but a really nice guy. David has been with them at 8to8, so he should be OK, once again, a nice guy. There is one guy, the one that helped Terran, that is a moron. All that said, they have a great selection and it is worth the trip. The cigar discussion is up to who you bring/meet up with. In my book, Mike is the real knowledge behind this place and he is very interesting to talk to. He spent a bit of time with Jerome, Jere and myself Saturday night and it was a very nice conversation about what he's doing with his escaparate. Judge it once you see it for yourself. I hope to meet you there.
