First CI Cigar of the Month Shippment Coming in Today

Hi Guys,

I have heard both good and bad about cigar of the month clubs. I gotta say, I am very excited to get my first shipment today. My wife got me a 3 month subscription for my birthday.

Anyone try the Cigars International Cigar of the Month club before? Anything interesting you received?

never done a club. BUT, if your wife is that supportive, you're gonna LOVE whatever you get~ yes, you will. understand???!!!!

HAHAHA! Here's the best part: I actually do! No need to pretend. It's truly awesome how supportive she is of my hobbies, including cigars. Last Christmas she got me a 150 count humidor, and a cold-air intake for my car. Is that awesome or is that awesome?

My Fiance got me the cigar of the month type deal last year for x-mas. She got it for me for six months and it was something that i really enjoyed. I dont think it was from CI but they sent me only 90+ rated cigars ad most of the were pretty good. It got me to try a lot of different brands. I had a good time trying all of them. It was hard to remember all of them they sent because it was 5 per month and I wasn't smoking that much at the time.

An idea that I wish i would have done is throw a little label on the ones that you receive and the month you get it. Then when you go to smoke one you could remember that it was one of the samplers and you can thank your wife.

I was a CI cigar of the month club member a couple years back. I honestly wasn't a big fan of the sticks that were sent. I remember getting a couple good sticks, but majority were not that good.

I gotta say, not bad for 19.99 a month. Here's the list:

4. Jose Dominguez Signature Series (6x44) - from Victor Sinclair sublines?

I'm pretty happy with this.

My wife complains about the smell and refused to get me anything cigar-related for Christmas. Whose got the keeper now?! :wink:

I got it before. It wasn't too bad. I gold an Olivia O perfecto and gurkha Black Dragon, not bad from what I remember. Pretty good for $20

The only good month is the last. They try to get you to sign up again by sending the best sticks.

I did it a while back as well. It was good at first but over a few months I got cigars that were not in my taste range. But is a great way to try new cigars from time to time.

I loved it so much, my wife got me another 3 month subscription! It's so neat having a new package to look forward to every month, and trying stuff that I might have never picked up or even found on my own.
