This is an old PC/PS2/Xbox game. The PC version is by far the best in my opinion. The PS2 and Xbox can't support as many people. Since this game is older the PS2/Xbox wont have many people playing it online anymore.

I played the campaign on Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and I thought it was fun.

Save your money for now. Online play has been very limited to due server overload (or so they are telling us) but atleast 20-30% downtime for the servers. Campaign is pretty fun but overall its kinda buggy. needs some patches. I would rent it first....I'm not too happy I bought it.
They have fixed most of the server issues. They weren't exactly ready for the number of people trying to play it the first week.
I have it on 360. I think the multiplayer is way better than modern warfare. MW2 has better single player, but BC2 multiplayer is a ton batter at focusing on strategy and teamwork. Lots of vehicles, weapon upgrades, you can destroy buildings so people can't camp in them.

I've got it on the Xbox 360, its excellent, personally I hated Bad Company 1 because it was too larkish and unrealistic. So when I saw that Bad Company 2 was coming out, dismissed it instantaneously. I used to be a COD fan, so carried on with MW2 which I still like, but when I was a little bored, I tried out the Bad Company 2 demo. That was it, hookes by every inch. Its more serious, more realistic and more entertaining, after I had spent a few hours blowing out walls and shooting people with sniper rifles, I made the decision, which I will never regret, to make the purchase and have been hooked on it since I got it. The graphics are excellent, the maps are brilliant, I like EA games' ethic and I have been a fan of Battlefield 1943, not to mention that seeing buildings collapse is quite awe inspiring and impressive when considering all a grenade launcher does in MW2 is leave a black mark on the wall and doesn't kill the person behind it.

Thanks fellas...At 43 it's hard for me to sit and play fantasy type games but I do really enjoy combat games or any game where you can shoot shit up. I don't care for the Dark sceen zombie/monster games to much however I did play Left for Dead 2 and liked that (do not care for the online play at all). Anyways thanks for letting me know!!
