I would love to hear your insight on any San Cristobal sticks you might have experiance with. Have not seen many reviews on them other than the people trying to sell them.

I would not be able to tell the difference between like vitolas in the San Cristobal and the La Aroma de Cuba. I like both DPG Nicaraguan, natural, full-bodied blends. The La Aroma Immensa is creamy-smooth.

There might be some subtle differences but for me they are identical.

Big fan of the Francisco (corona - lots of flavor) and Papagayo (robusto grande). To me, the original San Cristobal line is medium- to full-bodied. With a lot of Pepin's smokes, there is a big blast of pepper and spice right off the bat, especially for the first 1/2" or so. They tend to mellow and smooth out some for the rest of the time but, the spiciness is still noticeable throughout.

The Seleccion del Sol isn't bad. These seem to have less strength than the original and are more medium in body. I prefer the original series to these.

I've smoked nearly every vitola of the original San Cristobal line. Each one is fantastic. Peppery and leathery. You can't go wrong with this smoke.

I take It ncs... But i loved the first release of the San Cristobal than the ones now... However I do very much enjoy the new selccion del sol (sun grown)... Much tihicker but "lighter" smoke. More creamy and fulfilling, similar to the or San Cristobal in that aspect
