It is a one of a kind piece that was made as a joke. We will not be making this cigar at all. These koolaid comparisons are getting old. If people want to smoke certain cigars, let them. If you don't, why bother make a comment.
Did not want to ruffle feathers. But the only time that there have been fights and babies on here it has been over your cigars. Like I said I am not trying to ruffle feathers. This is an open forum and I feel that I can say what I want. Sorry if I hurt yor feelings.

I had no idea that people were fighting on the page about cigars. No problem with hurting my feelings. The koolaid comparison is just getting old. Not sure if you like the brands at all but I feel that I make a good product and stand behind it. Maybe just maybe, people that are enjoying the product, like it because it's good and not because everyone else is doing it. So I guess we all have been drinking Fuente and Padron koolaid for the last 10 years.

Pete you've got some of the best cigars out there for smoking, and although I certainly understand why your LE's are so popular, I do wish the "Have to Have's" and "Make a buck" consumers would just remember to take their meds.

Great getting to hang with you on the trip, and thanks for being co-conspirator on this cigar. I say cigars are for smoking, but this one is not. I plan on hanging onto it until I can find a proper home for it, perhaps in a museaum, maybe back to the family when the timing is right.

I am pretty shocked that some are bringing out the "koolaid" comments in regards to this cigar. One, it is a unique item, like the bat and pipe shaped cigars that Pepin also made and have on display in the Miami factory. This cigar was made by Pepin, and was an idea that came out of the group. Our very generous host, Pete, was good enough to ask pepin if he would oblige.
This is one of the things that came from the trip. Everyone is interested in what went on down there at the factory, well, that one thing that happened. It was meant to be a joke, something we thought everyone would get a laugh at. If you can't see the joke in it...then I would not bother posting in the thread.
I am not going to comment on why LE's are made, or if they shouldn't be made...this thread isn't the place.
