I just wanted to reflect one more time on our trip and bring back some brother hood here.
I know I'm not always the most mild manner person here but I think the Esteli trip has really changed that for me once and for all.
I remember seeing Ryan (alohastyles) waiting at us at the airport like a kid in a candy store.
I remember all of our faces when Pete came out of the store at the airport with a DOZEN bottles of rum telling us Darkman just bombed us in Esteli.(Post coming on its own i promise)
I remember being upgraded to 1st class by another brother from Chi just because he could not because he had too.
I remember the whole group being scared to get out of the rumbus at the factory because the dog Mocho stood 10 ft tall!
I remember evertime Pete brought out a new bundle of smokes that havn't even hit the shelves yet and everyone in awe of the generousity of him and Pepin.
I remember everytime I met someone new on the trip and thinking, How am I even lucky enough to be here right now.
I remember not feeling well the last day and Mitch providing the pharmacy and everyone else asking if I was ok just to make sure.
I remember Kockroach peeling the paint of the walls at 3am with his snooring and figuring its going to be alright!
I remember Matt (cyrann) gifting me with a 10yr old Opus out of now where on the trip. Thanks again Matt. Its getting lit today!
I remember Angry Bill calling just to check in with the brothers while on the trip.
I remember us sitting under the stars at 2 a.m. smoking, drinking. Talking about stories from our past, and remembering things we shouldn't have done as well. And why we shouldn't even be alive!
Maybe some others on the trip could post as well.
I remember what it is to be a Brother of the Leaf.

You have found out why so many are brothers of the leaf. It truly is a brotherhood. Well said Justin!

And my call was to make sure you guys all didn't drink all the rum in the world.. lol.

Very well put and stated Justin!

W.B., I would refer to the trip more as a "Once in a Lifetime Dream come True" more than just a vacation....but I wasn't on the trip so you will have to ask the Brothers that were if they agree or not.

I enjoyed all the time we spent at the factories. Learning, and seeing how passionate the family is about the craft!
Seeing how Dan was speechless when he caught a glimpse of his first stick!
Pete sharing with us all the goodies.
Janny was such a great host to us during the entire thing. Jamaica (hibiscus tea) every time we sat for a meal. Took us for ice cream.
Pepin with the huge meal that was put together at the farm. We ate family style!!
All of the guys that were on the trip, just got along.
The Ericisms... Oh the Ericisms!!

The trip was unbelievable guys we had the most gracious hosts, and the experience was made even better by the first class company we shared! It was great to meet a few new brothers and seeing others again. Huge thank you to Pete, Jaime, Janny, and Pepin for allowing us the opportunity to experience Nicaragua.

Justin, Jere, Danilo, Mitch, Ryan, Dan, Brian, Eric, Matt the trip was great but the experience was ten times better because of the awesome
company! The tours were amazing but my favorite part of the day was relaxing with all of you gents on the patio laughing over a few drinks and gars!

Justin you forgot to mention every time I called you a dumbass for forgeting things the last day. Now that's a true brother.
Pete, feel lucky that you only had to deal with him for 4 days. We live with this "brother" every day of the year!! Thanks for sharing guys! This is the kind of thread that makes me glad that I'm a "cigar geek" like the rest of ya's!!
