For anyone who hates Gurkha Cigars and needs some humi space you can send them my way if you'd like.

(NOTE: I am NOT trying to get FREE cigars. I know most of you don't like Gurkha's, and would like to get rid of them, There is no point in throwing away a perfectly good cigar. I'm not saying all Gurkha's are good)

LoL. I do have to admit, I've never tried one, and that's mostly because of the trash talk on this forum! Maybe some day I'll break down and buy one to try

There are plenty of good ones, at CI/cbid prices, that is. Don't always believe us elitists

Smoke what you like! If you have never tried one you willnever know. I have tried a few of there blends and have not been impressed so I swore off the brand. Plus for me it's hard to dig through 500 blends to find a winner.

I have to admit, I am a gurkha whore haha. Yes, they do lack consistency so be careful on that aspect, but from as high as the status to as low as the relic, I'd have to give them a 80% - like the others said don't drop 30 bucks on a single stick, but If you have not tried them at least give em a shot.

Dont ever waste the money on a beast or a titan. That cigar is a joke haha for half the price there are 10 other cigars that are twice as good

The Nepalese Warrior is one of my favorite Cameroon cigars.
The Legend, Centurian, and Royal Brigade are nice Dominican style sticks.
The Grand Age is a great Cameroon.
The Triple Ligero is very tasty.
The Blue Steel is a nice maduro.
The Titan and Beast are top notch cigars.

I've not had some of the others that are supposed to be great, like the G3 and Genghis Khan.

I couldn't care less if the farms for Gurkha, RP, Montecristo (NC) and others I can't remember at the moment all burned to the ground.

Just my $0.02

I bought a 5er of Centurions from cigar.com last month for, I believe $29.95. Haven't tried any yet. A fellow on brothersofbriar.com suggested that they had consistency issues and that they needed to be hand picked when buying - feeling for soft spots I guess. I just took them out of the mailer and put them into the tupperdor.

Has anybody found construction issues with the Centurions? Mine seem fine.

I've found the perfectos to be pretty consistent. I have tried the blue steel, centurian, anniversario, grand age and royal brigade and have had no problems so far. The problem I have with gurkha is the hype. Most are good, some are very good... But they often don't live up to their packaging. It's an oversell.. I bet if they came in conservative boxes and at a rational msrp more people would appreciate them for the decent sticks they are.

The biggest problem with Gurkha, is that at the price of one of their cigars, you can get something so much better...
Do I spend 10 bux on a Gurkha? or 10 bux on a My Father? A Don Carlos? Tatuaje?
For the price of 1 of their cigars, there is something else that could be had...
