Do it...Try a Gurkha Beast or a Gurkha Grand Reserve
......werd:yes:I couldn't care less if the farms for Gurkha, RP, Montecristo (NC) and others I can't remember at the moment all burned to the ground.
Just my $0.02
I agree that only a silly person would buy a Gurkha at retail. But they probably wouldn't know the difference anyway. The biggest problem with Gurkha, is that at the price of one of their cigars, you can get something so much better...
Do I spend 10 bux on a Gurkha? or 10 bux on a My Father? A Don Carlos? Tatuaje?
For the price of 1 of their cigars, there is something else that could be had...
I have many of the ones I like but too many for me to smoke. PM me your addy and I would be happy to send you some. For anyone who hates Gurkha Cigars and needs some humi space you can send them my way if you'd like.
(NOTE: I am NOT trying to get FREE cigars. I know most of you don't like Gurkha's, and would like to get rid of them, There is no point in throwing away a perfectly good cigar. I'm not saying all Gurkha's are good)
Almost all of the Gurkhas have consistency issues. One can be great and another can burn so off that it's not worth the hassle. As others have said, regular price, not a chance, 2-4 bucks a stick, not bad.I bought a 5er of Centurions from cigar.com last month for, I believe $29.95. Haven't tried any yet. A fellow on brothersofbriar.com suggested that they had consistency issues and that they needed to be hand picked when buying - feeling for soft spots I guess. I just took them out of the mailer and put them into the tupperdor.
Has anybody found construction issues with the Centurions? Mine seem fine.
