I got to thinking that if the leatherface is made - what type of coffin should it come in? Dr Fankenstein could afford a nice coffin for his monster and Dracula bought his own so it would make sense that they were pretty nice. On the other hand a west Texas psycho killer pig farmer most likely will just be made out of any old wood hanging around. No paint or liner just a square rough wood box with a couple of pieces of scrap leather for hinges.

A blood splattered band would be a nice touch, this time around. Maybe a light brown with dark brown writing, blood splattered.

OK so I missed the boat on these. Not from a lack of trying, luck just wasn't on my side:disappoin
After seeing the Leather Face thread it got me thinking about other possibilities. Seems like Pete is giving props to Old Hollywood Horror and I think either the "Mummy" or "The Creature from the Black Lagoon" would be cool!

Ofcourse with my luck, I would probibly miss out on them like the others!
What other old Hollywood monsters do you think would be cool to add to the Tat coffin collection?

Cedar planks, in the same shape as the other coffins for the sake of the "series"
Couple pieces of unfinished rough cedar, and instead of it wrapped in nice paper, just newspaper inside... kinda how the bundles are kept at the factory (wax paper or foil inside the news paper, for the sake of the cigars of course.)

* Jekyll and Hyde (a culebra-type thing, except with only two sticks twisted around each other, one wrapped with ligero and the other with corojo)
* The Mummy (a piramide wrapped with rice paper)

I too would really like to see a culebra!! Since Pete and Jonathan Drew are buddies, maybe JD would let Pete name it the Medusa :)
