I'm looking to buy some, anyone have any favorite (non-churchill) Illusione cigars?

I'd suggest a sampler at New Havana. No one knows yer likes/dislikes better than yerself.

The CG:4 is my favorite Illusione. Mk and in close second. Epernay's are pretty damn good too!

I'm the oddball so far. I have tried a few of the Illusione's and I just don't get them. I have in my humi the cg4's and a couple of the Epernay's from a sample I ordered. I really want to love this cigar however In my opinion there just ok. There not a terrible smoke and the have a very pleasent smell when burning, they just don't excite my pallet enough on the flavor. Who knows maybe down the road that will change!

I was not impressed with the cg4. To be honest, it may be the biggest cigar let down in the last few years...IMO. On the other hand, I love the bands with gold lettering and the one wrapped with tin foil. As you can see, I really pay attention to the names

+1 to that.

I am, however, really looking forward to trying the Nosotros. From the reviews, they sound like more my speed.

I got the 7 cigar sampler from NHC of 90+ rated Illusiones. My favorite of those was the F9. They were all good, but I thought the smaller ring gauges really stood out.

I had the same experience with these. Tried the F9 and the cg4, and both left me slightly let down on flavor - they weren't bad, just lacking something. Obviously as a true scientist, I must continue to experiment. Epernay is next on the list.

Any reason you don't want to try a churchill? Just don't like that vitola? That said, any of those NHC samplers is probably the best bet for you....
