If so how is it working out?
What shelves did you go with?
Did you put an ETC in it? like this Mod:

Several people on here have that model, myself included. I got drawers made by one of the forum members (mav_sd). I have not put an ETC on mine, and the temp on max setting so far is between 63 and 64. I have 2 pound of 65% heartfelt beads, and after getting it stabilized it has been good.

do you have one pound in the top and one in the bottom, how many drawers do you have, mine stays around 61 degrees, but cant seem to get the top and bottom to equal or come close on humidity. the tops is like around 70 and the bottom around 62... wierd, and i have 5 hygros and i have even moved them around.... i dont know. thinking of going with the etc to see if it helps...

I got some of the tube style(about the size of a cigar) from Hearfelt Industries and spread the beads around the humi, helped to keep mine more constistant from top to bottom

I have 3 drawers and boxes stacked at the bottom. Like c_m, I have them spread around. I had trouble at first with RH, but put the beads in shallower containers and spread them out more, and it cleared up.

EDIT: I don't think an ETC would help with humidity distribution, either spread out the beads more or get some small fans and add airflow.

Dunno guys my vino 28 has always had 1lb in the very bottom on the floor of the unit in a hf bag. 64 at the base and 63 at the top. Main fan never on and sometimes the oust fan runs out of juice for a month. Wish I could help more but only thing I can think of is I've had 20 or so boxes in mine for well over a year?

did you put them inside the drawers? i have 4 drawers that take up prob half the wineador. But i have two shelves, i could put one in the middle and put beads on it, i think i will try that. What kind of containers did you use?

I just got my Edgestar last week, have three drawers and one shelf (thanks Mav). Use 1.5 lbs. of 65% beads and it's right at 64-65 RH. Half my beads are in 4-5" square tupperware containers on top and bottom. Now I just need a fan or two, and then decide if I want to use an ETC or not.

does your edgestar run constantly or does it shut off, mine runs all the time, never shuts off.

3 drawers full with a shelf on the bottom and boxes. Bag of beads on the bottom in the back under the shelf. No fans no controller RH stays at 65-67 top, bottom, midway, and temp stays at 67. Never have to mess with anything except maybe add a little moisture to beads during the winter months. Have been running it that way for the last 2 or 3 years.

I do not think it should be running all the time. I have an ETC on mine, and it's only runs a couple times per day in the summer and is off all winter long.

I just got my Edgestar 28 up and running. I put 1lb HF beads in a ceramic pie dish in the bottom and 1 of the HF Blue cylinder beads in the top.HM stays at 63 and temp is 61.I think when summer really hits here in TX the temp will rise a little but no problem since the temp control is set on the highest setting.
Only complaint I have is the cooler is too small:grinFU:

It'd be sweet if you guys could post a few pics!

I've narrowed my search down to 3 models and the Edgestar 28 is one of them!
