Hi from Bali,
Ya, definitely my ugly mug and thanks for the comment on the pipe. I make them myself out of a local cone shell and buffallo horn for the stem and 22kt gold detailing. I just sent one to Ron and about 4 other guys on puff.com who ordered them in silver.

This is foto of my pipe on a 3inch stick of village aged pipe tobacco

It is an extremely cool smoking pipe as the smoke travels around and around as it exits the shell. I use it to smoke my extremely powerful 5year old village aged Stick Tobacco for pipes. We also use this same unique tobacco in our cigar filler blend for our premium Tambo and our Tambota lines of cigars. Nowhere in the world is tobacco aged in this manner and currently at the puff site dozens of guys are participating in a group buy and receiving this unique tobacco from one of Indonesia's most remote and exotic islands and trying it out.

This foto shows typical tobacco growing village in Sumba, where our unique tobaccos have been grown for centuries and where they age for 5 years for our fillers and pipe sticks.

Village chief overlooking 3meter long sticks of aging tobacco inside his traditional hut where the tobacco lives with the family for 5 years.

First reviews are absolutely glowing at puff site and Ron can tell you first hand all about it as he has it in his hands now. Love to put a group buy together here if any interest and if anyone is willing to be the recipient and onward post person? Hate to bother Ron again as he is still in the middle of sending out about 18kilos from our last group buy! Ron is one heck of a worker for the BOTL, but I am sure you all know that... Just let me know... Smoke on, Balibob

Those pipes rock! we may have to have a group buy also!
Anytime my friend. I am here to work things out as everyone likes. I am very new to this community so I need guidance from those with more experience as don't want to offend, just want to help BOTL enjoy a new kind of smoking experience with some seriously powerful tobacco from half way around the world...Balibob
PS.By the way small sticks in our last group buy ran $9 each with shipping which makes a good 150grams of pipe tobacco after reconstituting (which is pretty easy)...and 100gram ready to smoke ran $10 in resealable pouches. Put a 3kilo buy together and we got a group. Just let me know...

Good to see you here Bob! For anybody in the Atlanta area who would like to try out a Super Robusto I am getting a box soon and am willing to give away one for whoever would like to try it out. This is how much I love this cigar and think everyone who tries it will feel the same. PM me for when you think you might want to do this.

Okay all,
We are working on setting up a thread for a group buy. Ron is checking with the powers that be to make sure we do it right and don't step on any toes... Be patient and keep an eye on this thread and more info should be appearing soon. In the meantime here is a new foto from the 2010 Pasola Festival on the island from where this tobacco comes. The Pasola is an annual fertility festival held in March where warriors come from all over the island to compete in a spear chucking war on horseback with each other. This year only one spectator died so relatively peaceful, but blood must be spilled on the pasola field or it is a bad omen. The foto shows a local warrior smoking the Tambo village aged tobacco in the traditional way, rolled in corn husk!

These guys are serious about their social gatherings and about their smokes! Balibob

Is that the new one he's coming out with that's supposed to be very strong?
