Man am I glad to to finally have the 80 degree days back. One of my weekend rituals from now until it gets cold again is to enjoy a cup of coffe on the pool deck with a great cigar every Saturday and Sunday morning.

Anyone else got one?

Haven't really had one, but since moving to the new house I've really been digging the deck. The sun hits it when it comes up in the morning so it would be a nice place to wake up with a cup of tea weekend mornings. I guess the closest thing to a ritual I have would be that I try every summer to take a float trip. It's nice that I don't live very far from some quality floating streams. Some buddies and I have been talking about getting a weekend camping/float trip going soon...ah a weekend of fishing, drinking, and cigars . Can it get any better?

When the weather is nice and my wife is not on-call, I take a late-night walk with a cigar. As a stay-home dad sometimes getting exercise isn't easy, so I'm excited to get back into the daily walking habit (stated last night).

I start looking forward to two things once the warm weather decides to stick around... I love relaxing on the porch listening to Braves games on the radio or taking a nice stroll with the dog (and the wife if she decides to come). Of course both of these activities are accompanied by a cigar. :cbig:

For me summer weather mostly means allot of work (I'm in the landscaping business) but it also means allot more running, trips to the beach, and of course plenty of cigars.

My summer weather rituals - if you want to call it that - normally center around getting in as much rock climbing in as possible, of course it helps when you're only a 10-15 minute drive from an world class bouldering area ;) but I also have a few climbing trips planned.

I'd really like get out to at least one major Burning Leaf herf this summer, but that falls more under vacation time but for some thats just as much a ritual as anything else.

Well I have to be carefull in the sun and heat so I like to go out about 10am with my baby girl (yellow lab). She enjoys a dog chew and I kick it with a stogie and Diet Coke. The temp is usually just about right at that time and the air is crisp.

Ah, well this one's tough for me... we have 10 months of GREAT weather... 2 where it's just plain effing HOT. But while you all were shoveling snow, I've been golfing, riding motorcycles, off-roading in the Jeep and enjoying MANY cigar-patios at restaurants everywhere...... I'll take the 2 hot months... :stretchgr

Cheers!

I'm with you. Have a small place in Michigan where I enjoy my cigars at the end of a pier, at the end of a day, and that is starting up next weekend. At home it's on the deck after dinner. The weather's not quite 80 yet, but have had a good week of high 60's low 70's. Just about any temp over freezing will get me outside.

Great weather here after a cold winter and now I get to resume my daily rituals of French Press coffee in the morning and then pick out a nice cigar and take a ride on the cruiser. Pick out a good place to park the bike ( by a lake/or one of the many battlefields here in Atlanta) and just kick back and let the mind wander.

It's still a bit chilly here, but I just put on a coat and sit on the deck watching my bird feeders whilst enjoying a good stogie. Got four pair of hummingbirds now so I get a front row seat for some good aerial combat.
