Made the mistake once and I mean ONCE cutting habanero peppers for my chilli. Just touched the outside corner of my eye. All I have to say is SHEIT, F.............k, Damn..... Will never do that again. I feel your pain Meg.

The funny thing about working with chili peppers i.e. habanero, jalapeno, thai etc... That stuff gets into your skin and you can't just wash it off... I was cooking with some jalapenos and it was lilke 90 degrees in my apartment and I started wiping sweat off my face and HOLY SHEIT! I got that heat in my eyes up my nose and I had fluid pouring out of every orifice on my face cuz the irritation was so damn unbearable! Also don't ever cook with hot peppers before fooling around with you lady friend if you know what I mean, that'll put a fire to them real fast!
