mexicali again...I'm hearing 6.9 and yeah I agree, that was long. I was in Trader Joes and just thought it was my hangover making me sway, then all the bottles started clanking togther.

i've got some oceanfront property in arizona...
I'm with you Bob. I'm thinking of building a boardwalk on the Arizona border. Be the first to have a boardwalk on the ocean there. Make lots of money. If Calif. doesn't fall in I'll still make lots of money from all the people I'll charge when they come to see what idiot built a boardwalk in Arizona! :stretchgr

Seriously though, I hope our west coast brothers didn't sustain any damage.

So much strong seismic activity in the past year or so...glad that it seems no one is hurt (yet anyway)...I'd be interested in investing in that boardwalk you guys are building

DITTO DAVE!!! I was in the man-cave enjoying a La Riqueza and thought I was getting dizzy. Then I felt the snap at the end. Right then I heard BOOM. Oh s**t the 52 inch TV :crying: Luckily it was the a large mirror sitting on top of the mantle. I guess I should have mounted it on the wall :frown:

My dad lives in the Coachella Valley and it scared the s**t out of him. Called me and thought it was gonna be the big one.

And yes it was a 6.9 about 40 miles southeast of Mexicali.

That is nuts. I am just waiting for one to hit here. There has been a lot going on lately.

Hope all is well out there in Cali.

Speaking of property in AZ... We felt mild tremors in Phoenix this afternoon.

Only ablut 2 seconds all together, but the blinds and hanging lights were definitely swaying!

Craziness.
