Vino28 storage capacity

Was moving the vino28 to the basement today. Took a pic of what one will hold for guys still wondering. It has 25 boxes and maybe room for 2 more.

Actually that brings up a question I had. I can see what your preference is I guess, but on the majority, do you guys prefer to leave your cigars in their boxes, or store them loose in trays or humidors? Is one way "better" or worse for cigars than the other or is it just a matter of personal preference?

Just got my 28 up and running...I love it!

It took about a week, but now when I open the door it smells like a humidor instead of a vinotemp! The humidity and temp has been hanging right where I want them.

Personally I like to keep the cigars in the box but when room is short. Cedar trays will be a more efficient use of space, since many of the boxes will only be partially filled.

Prefer to leave the gars in the boxes... If you want a useful book grab a copy of Min Ron Nee and see what his personal opinions are on cigar storage and what his experience is with tobacco leaves.

I leave them in the box until there are only a few left, then I consolidate to a sigles box. If I need the room earlier, I'll consolidate earlier.

Wow, how do you fit 25 boxes in there? I have the Edgestar 28, and I can fit only 17 boxes. I assume that the interior dimensions are similar. The Edgestar's are H 23.75 x W 14 x D 13.5.

Do you just have the boxes floor to ceiling? Where do you put beads or whatever you use to humidify?

Kravnh... Tetris is the way to go. Pick up a game boy and start practice!!

1 shelf in the 1st slot. Then beads on floor in a bead bag. Also one box under the shelf. The rest get stacked.

true... but i can't say i know what most of that smokes like.... your collection is a bit more "advanced" than mine.

Wow 25 boxes in your Vino?? I could never fit that many in my old Avanti 28 bottle.
