This place IS my vacation
We found out today that my mother has another (she had breast cancer four years ago) tumor and it's cancerous. It is on her back...a few millimeters from her spine: too close to the spine for surgery...it'd be too risky.
However, if something is not done to remove it, she will quickly become paralyzed as the tumor is growing at a dangerously fast rate.
We don't know what is going to be done yet but we are hoping that there is a surgeon somewhere capable of doing the procedure...We are looking out of state and hopefully surgery will be possible soon.
