So, about a month ago, on my way home from the sandbox, I picked up an AF Gran Reserva at the PX and hauled it back with my 70-80 other sticks in my ersatz tupperdore in my assault pack carry on. I take the thing out of the humi to smoke it today, and unceremoniously dropped it on my hardwood floor on the way out to the deck to smoke it, pretty much destroying the wrapper. I got about an inch or so in before the thing just gave up on me and I never really got the chance to find out if it was any good or not. To soothe my depression, I went and retieved a CAO La Traviata, which I'm currenntly burning, but I'm not sure I like it that much. So, is the AF worth another shot?

there are about a dozen + fuentes. not sure which one you had as the majority just have af gran reserva on the label! that being said, most fuentes are pretty good medium smokes.

Yeah good smoke but the problem with buying from the px is they don't store them properly and are all dry. Least that was my experience last time I bought a smoke from the px in Kuwait.

I did the same thing only with a Tatuaje Gran Cojonu. I was so bummed. It was the only one I ever had, it was gifted to me, and I haven't had another since. I tried really hard to smoke it to but it hit on the foot and pretty much destroid it. I remember trying to smoke it while constantly pulling pieces out of my mouth and the wrapper flakes off my lips. I finely got just to fustrated and gave up:sadpace: So I know how you feel!

I guess I'm in the minority but I've never been too fond of AF stuff. Granted, I've never had an opus but they just weren't my style.

I had a DPG Serie JJ from Schukins that traveled across the country in FedEx and endured rough handing during the move into the new apt. 3000 miles from home. This boy was totally beat... definitely not stored optimally, foot exploded, cap crushed, wrapper coming undone in the middle, but it still smoked perfectly. I really enjoyed that smoke.
