tonight i was gifted a La Aurora 107 that are not supposed to be available til the end of the month! the construction looks great and it smells very good. if it wasn't so late i would smoke it now... guess it will have to wait for the weekend.

i have never smoked any La Aurora's, so i really don't know what to expect other than the reviews i have seen. i really wish i was better like some of you to really identify the flavors in the smoke to write a good review, i will do my best and post something when i get back from upstate.

I was at an event last evening with CA_Joe where we met with the rep and smoked one of these (and I had the audacity to purchase two (2) others.

Well, having began the afternoon with a light bodied stick, the pepper on this stick was present from the first puff. After that, there is nothing else positive I can say about the stick. It was simply too young and lacked complexity.

There were about 12 other folks who smoked them and to a man, no one said that they'd smoke another anytime soon. In fact, had it not been for the company we were keeping, a couple of us noted that we would have let the stick die prematurely.

That said, I will give it a try again is three months and then again in six as I am a fan of La Aurora. I am smoking the last of a box of 100 Anos from 1999 and talk about tasty...

Just my $. 02

I smoked this stick a couple of days ago and thought it was just okay. Its evident that there's good tobacco in this cigar but I felt it was definitely underdeveloped at this time. From what I understand this cigar will fall within the $8-10 range.

I'll try one again later as its hard to form a good opinion based on one stick.
